Earl M. Cunningham,68 of Kingman Rt 1 a former Fountain County commissioner was found dead at his home north of Wallace at 7 a.m. Monday Jan 11, 1971. Founty County coroner Robert Shelby attributed death to a self-inflicted strangulation by hanging. Born in Indiana Aug 5, 1902, he was the son of Jasper & Florence Myers Cunningham. He married Georgiana Hopkins Aug 21, 1920. Well known farmer and livestock raiser, he served one term as commissioner and was Jackson Twp Dem Preceinct Committeman. He was a life resident of Jackson Twp, and he was a member of the Wolfe Creek Ccommunity church. Wallace Masonic Lodge 495 F & AM and the Founty County Farm Bureau. Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Hubert (Martha ) Glascock of Kingman Rt 1, Mrs. Wayne (Sarah Glover of Indianapolis and Mrs. Carolyn Cunningham of the Indiana University Medical Center in Indainapolis and 5 grandchildren . He was preceded in death by a sister. kbz

- Services for Earl M. Cunningham 68 of Kingman Rt 1 will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wolfe Creek Church with Rev. John Servies of Waynetown and the Rev Leonard Siss of Romney officiating. Burial will be in Wolfe Creek cemetert. Friends may call at the Woodrow Funeral Home after 2 p.m Wednesday. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. - kbz
